Two weeks into it

As of now, Emiel and I have been in Mexico for about 2 weeks. In that two weeks we have had many different experiences. I have had many i would like to forget and many i will remember for a long time.
It was a challenge for me to be here for the first week. We spent the ffirst weekend here hanging out with Emiel's friends, fortunately most of them speak english. They are very nice. I have met many people here so far and they are all pretty cool. Mexicans have a different way of life far from Korea or Canada. Life here is not as serious, people here are happy in there own right and seem to understand that things will get done. Unlike Korea where it seems you always have something to get done and it needed to be finished yesterday. Needless to say i like it here.
I have had trouble since coming here. I wallet was either lost or stolen I can't say for sure on either but what I do know is it is gone forever and ever. On te bright side, i no longer worry about having my wallet stolen. So for now life is rolling along. Also, i had a run in with the food. Seems Mexican food is a natural laxitive for some people, and I was not excluded. It hurt very much and well, i am very happy it is over.
Speed bumps are huge, they hurt my car, so we decided to raise the car for a decent price. an inch and half up and we should be ok. Of all the small problems we have had since arriving nothing seems to stick in my side telling meto go home, it has only taught me that things will pass as quickly as you want them to. Also nothing is really as bad as it seems.
The beach is nice, surfing is hard, the food is cheap and showers just dont seem necessary after spending 4 hours a day in the ocean. I am having my full share of hippie life, complete with long hair and a beard.
